The seven Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) introduced by UN Global Compact and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) provide companies, government and civil society a set of principles to empower women in the workplace, market place and community.

Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality.

Treat all women and men fairly at work – respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination.
3.
Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all women and men workers.
4.
Promote education, training and professional development for women.
5.
Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women.
6.
Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy.
7.
Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality.
CELI’s corporate commitment is reflected through the organization’s mission statement and is supported by its members attested to the growing realization of how important these values are to women in micro, small medium entrepreneurship, business and their communitiesAs the impact of COVID-19 pandemic intensifies, UN Women calls for concrete actions to respond to the concurrent shadow pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic presents a prevailing culture of impunity threatening the progress achieved on gender equality and ending violence against women and girls. UN Women is calling for robust and decisive action in response to this unprecedented crisis on the Elimination of Violence against Women.
LEGAL FRAMEWORK, RULES & REGULATIONS, CODE OF CONDUCT FOR CELI.
1. All Presidents and Members are aware and understand that CELI is well constituted and registered in accordance to the revised corporation code, articles and bylaws (Republic Act No: 11232) of the Philippines under the Securities and Exchange Commission of The Republic of Philippines – Company Registration No: CN202100507.
2. All Members are aware that CELI is recognised by its more visual CELI BRAND identity that is protected as an intellectual copyright. CELI Brand stands out uniquely as an intentionally designed brand which is properly positioned and aligned to its mission statement.
3. CELI Branding is aimed at bringing out its Mission and Vision as well as the organization long-term strategic goals; intended to increase public trust; increase internal cohesion and unity, increase awareness about its cause and work and build its reputation among other values.
4. All Members are aware that CELI is a social organization whose aim is to empower women. CELI was conceptualized and created exclusively for women serving humanity, promote peace and establish strong partnership with individuals who share the same goals and objectives, dedicated with ethics, disposition and attention helping its leaders to contribute and attain the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
5. All Members are aware that the Vision of CELI is Empowering women to achieve global goals through sustainable efforts of increasing women’s participation and involvement in the community they belong; linking partnerships and be recognised as a driving force of global social change; provide global leadership and coordination and to capacitate the rights of women through policy, education and innovative programs.
6. All Members are aware that CELI is an organization that complies with the UN Charter and laws and does its best in poverty eradication, protection of refugees, fighting drugs, protecting orphans and widows, protecting nature, and do their best for a world peace free from war, free from racism, violence and discrimination.
7. CELI Secretariat has the responsibility of guiding the level of services consumerate to its core focus including assisting the policymaking organs. Hierarchy Protocol must be followed always.
8. It should be understood that CELI Members must serve only the interests of CELI in as far as its mandate, mission and vision are is spelt out and MUST avoid conflict of interests.
9. All Members are aware that CELI is guided by Principles, Rules and Regulations and Strict Code of Ethics that are not limited to: – Guiding Principles and Values Fundamental Human Rights; Respect For Diversity – Tolerance and Understanding and Women Empowerment.
10. All Members are aware that CELI Platform and Social Media Pages are solely to promote CELI and its Brand. Members can only share or make announcement of activities related to UN/UNESC/GAHE and/or GDYLI which are our affiliate organizations. Members must first consult with World President, H.H Lady Countess Dr. Celia Rubini for any such authority outside these organizations.
